Step by Step Processes

THESE ARE THE STEP BY STEP PROCESSES THAT I USED IN GARDENING.

Planting:

Only plant a seed as deep as the widest or longest part. If you have a seed that is about one 1/4 of an inch wide, only plant it 1/4 of an inch down in the soil. All of these measurements are just estimate so there is no need to get out a measuring tape.

Let's start with how to plant seeds:

1: Take the handle of a spade and create however many rows you want to plant.

2: Take your seeds and disperse them evenly throughout the row. They make tools called seed dispensers, which you can invest in, or you can just use your fingers.

3: Use your fingers to cover the seeds. Remember, only as deep as the widest or longest part.

4: Water it right away, but only enough that the soil is damp. You don't want to float the seeds to the top.

Now, let's talk about planting transplants:

1: Dig a hole in the soil you are transplanting into that is about the depth of the container your transplant is in.

2: Take the transplant out of its original container. You can squeeze the container a little bit to make it pop out so that you don't pull the plant out of the soil.

3: Break the transplant's soil up into the hole you've dug.

4: Put the transplant into the hole.

5: Take the surrounding soil and pile it up around the base of the transplant so that the transplant can stand up.
